Titel des Rahmenprogramms: Gesundheit und Dorfentwicklung in Ost-Nepal

Ziel des Programms ist es, einen verbesserten Zugang zu einer wirksameren und qualitativ verbesserten Gesundheitsversorgung vor allem für benachteiligte, arme Bevölkerungsgruppen in Nepal zu schaffen.

Die Zielgruppe des Programms sind 1.200 Haushalte der ländlichen Bevölkerung der Middle-Hills, vorrangig ethnische Minderheiten, Frauen und Kinder. Der regionale Schwerpunkt der Aktivitäten liegt in abgelegenen Bergdörfern Ostnepals: Pawai Village Development Committee (VDC), Solu Khumbu District und Bakhachol VDC, Khotang District.

Erwartete Resultate:

o Die lokale Bevölkerung ist ermächtigt, ein positives gesundheitsbewusstes Verhalten zu entwickeln und Forderungen im Bereich vorrangige Gesundheitsbedürfnisse zu stellen.

o Die lokale Basisgesundheitsversorgung ist zugänglich und effektiv und erfüllt die Bedürfnisse für vorrangige Gesundheitsbedürfnisse effizient.

o Existierende und neue partizipatorische Kooperationsmodelle im Bereich Dorfentwicklung sind gestärkt.

In den Aktivitäten zur Erreichung der Resultate werden folgende Schwerpunkte gelegt:

o Erfassung und Analyse von traditionellen Kooperationsformen, Heilsystemen und lokalen

Ressourcen

o Bildung und Stärkung von Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft auf Dorfebene

o Bau und Instandsetzung von Trinkwassersystemen, Toiletten, Gesundheitseinrichtungen

o Formelle und informelle Bildung

o Information und Bewusstseinsbildung im Bereich Hygiene und Gesundheit

o Training und Ausbildung von Gesundheitspersonal und traditionellen HeilerInnen

o Verbesserung der wirtschaftlichen Situation und Ernährung der ländlichen Bevölkerung durch Maßnahmen im Bereich Landwirtschaft und Verbesserung der Einkommensmöglichkeiten

o Durchführung einer Radiokampagne


Die methodischen Ergebnisse sollen vor allem auf nationaler Ebene in den EZA-Gesundheitssektor eingebracht werden.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
