Overall goal


Die Fachabteilung respect der Naturfreunde Internationale widmet sich dem Themenbereich des weltweiten Tourismus und seinen Auswirkungen auf Gesellschaft, Umwelt und Entwicklung. Mit positiven Beispielen und Erfahrungen sollen Reisende, Reiseunternehmen aber auch politische Verantwortungsträger im Tourismusbereich für die Bedeutung einer nachhaltigen Tourismusentwicklung sensibilisiert werden. Angebot und Nachfrage sowie gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen sollen auf diesem Wege positiv beeinflusst werden.

Im Projekt für 2011 werden Öffentlichkeits- und Informationsarbeit, Bildungsarbeit und Forschung zu nachhaltigem Tourismus fortgeführt und weiterentwickelt. Inhaltlich setzt man auf die zentralen Schwerpunktthemen "Respektvolles Reisen- Fairer Handel im Tourismus" und "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) im Tourismus". Neben gezielter Medienarbeit und der Konzentration auf das Medium Internet werden zahlreiche Maßnahmen und Materialien aus den Vorjahren weiterentwickelt eingesetzt. Auch langjährige Kooperationen mit MultiplikatorInnen (Tourismuswirtschaft, NRO, Medien) werden fortgeführt und die (inter)nationale Netzwerkarbeit forciert.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA- Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 70.000,- (74,84 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
