Overall goal


Das Projekt "Renovierung der Volksschule in Aiuun, saharauische Flüchtlingslager, Südwestalgerien" wird von der GEZA in Kooperation mit dem lokalen Partner Kooperationsministerium der RASD implementiert und hat eine Laufzeit von 1 ½ Jahren.


Das Projektziel ist die Wiederherstellung eines sehr guten Zustands der 1984 mit österreichischer Unterstützung erbauten Volksschule im Flüchtlingslagerstandort Aiuun, die Komplettierung von zwei in der Zwischenzeit dazu gebauten Schulgebäuden (teilweise zerstört durch Sandsturm), die Renovierung von 3 Schulgebäuden aus Adobe und das Erweitern der Sanitäreinrichtungen der Schule, die für die inzwischen vorhandene SchülerInnenzahl nicht ausreichend sind.


Die erwarteten Resultate sind:


(1) Die, 1984 mit österreichischer Unterstützung erbauten, Fertigteilgebäude der Schule sind nach erfolgter, hochqualitativer Renovierung durch ein saharauisches Bauteam wieder in gutem Zustand.

(2) Die zusätzlichen nachträglich erbauten Schulgebäude aus Zement, die von einem Sturm 2007 teilweise zerstört worden sind, sowie die drei Adobe-Schulbauten wurden durch eine saharaurische Baufirma renoviert und können wieder für den Unterricht genutzt werden.

(3) Die Sanitäranlage der Schule wurde für die heute bestehenden Notwendigkeiten ausgebaut.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries.
