Short Description:

Overall goal


Für die Bevölkerung der Zielregionen sind mehr Informationen über sexuelle und reproduktive Rechte sowie ein verbesserter Zugang zu Gesundheitsdiensten erforderlich. Neben qualitativen Verbesserungen benötigen daneben besonders schwangere Frauen Gesundheitsdienstleistungen, die stärker an ihren Traditionen orientiert sind. Die zunehmende sexuelle Gewalt gegen Jugendliche verschlimmert das Problem ungewollter Schwangerschaften und STDs weiter. Die Ausbreitung der STDs geht einher mit einem niedrigen Risikobewusstsein hinsichtlich HIV/Aids und einem niedrigen Bildungsstand in der Region als weiteren Risikofaktoren.


Die Zielgruppe des vorliegenden Projekts - ca. 220.000 Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene zwischen 12 und 25 Jahren aus den ärmsten Munizipien im Norden Nicaraguas - repräsentieren selbst innerhalb dieses Landes eine sozial extrem schwache und unterprivilegierte Gruppe.


Das vorliegende Projekt verfolgt daher das Ziel der Stärkung des Bewusstseins über sexuelle und reproduktive Rechte, Verbesserung der Qualität und Ausdehnung der Dienstleistungen im Bereich der sexuellen und reproduktiven Gesundheit für Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene im nicaraguanischen Grenzgebiet zu Honduras.

- Aus- und Fortbildung von Multiplikator/innen, Lehrkräften und Sozialarbeiter/innen;

- Soziale Kommunikation / Öffentlichkeitsarbeit;

- Entwicklung und Stärkung des lokalen Gesundheitssystems;

- Forschung und fachliche Beratung;

- Monitoring und Evaluierung.
