Mit dem Projekt führt Klimabündnis Österreich in den Jahren 2012 und 2013 zwei Schwerpunktsetzungen durch:

Initiative Rio+20 im Jahr 2012:

Klimabündnis Österreich (und mehrere entwicklungs- und umweltpolitische Organisationen) nehmen die UN-Konferenz für Nachhaltige Entwicklung Rio+20 zum Anlass für differenzierte Debatten und öffentlichkeitswirksame Aktionen in Österreich. Der Rio+20-Schwerpunkt ist eine Verknüpfung von österreichweiten Maßnahmen von NRO/Akteuren der Entwicklungs- und Umweltpolitik. Inhaltlich werden dabei die Themen Umwelt, Ressourcen, Klima, Ernährung, Menschenrechte, Weltwirtschaft und Lebensstil aufgegriffen. Zentrale Elemente sind eine integrierte Kommunikationsstrategie (gemeinsamer Außenauftritt, Slogan) und eine prozessorientierte partizipative Arbeitsweise. Die Projektmaßnahmen umfassen Koordination und Netzwerkarbeit (Steuerungsgruppe Rio+20), Kommunikationsarbeit und Medienpaket (Medienkooperationen, Recherchekatalog für JournalistInnen, Pressekonferenz), Stakeholder-Veranstaltungen, die Einrichtung und Wartung einer Rio+20-Website, Veranstaltungskoordination und Publikationen. Als Zielgruppen werden EntscheidungsträgerInnen und MultiplikatorInnen aus Zivilgesellschaft und Politik, sowie eine breite Öffentlichkeit (via Medien) angesprochen. Gemeindepaket Klimagerechtigkeit im Jahr 2013: Das Projekt wird aus OEZA.Mitteln in der Höhe von insgesamt € 134.400,- (79, 99 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
