Overall goal


Thematisch fokussiert die OEZA im SADC Raum neben Rechtsstaatlichkeit auf das Thema Infrastruktur. Dabei steht der Umstieg von der Nutzung fossiler Energie auf eine leistbare und nachhaltige Energieversorgung im Vordergrund, eine Voraussetzung, um Armut im SADC Raum zu mindern.

In diesem Sinne unterstützt SOLTRAIN, Solarthermische Ausbildung und Demonstration im SADC Raum, erfolgreich die beteiligten SADC Mitgliedstaaten (Partnerländer der OEZA) in der beschleunigten Nutzung von thermischen Solaranlagen.

 


Expected results


Am 04.10. bis 07.10.2015 findet die International Renewable Energy Conference in Südafrika, SAIREC, statt. Südafrika ist das sechste und erste afrikanisches Land, welches die International Renewable Energy Conference (IREC) organisiert. SAIREC basiert auf den Ergebnissen der bisherigen Konferenzen in Bonn (2004), Beijing (2005), Washington (2008), Delhi (2010) und Abu Dhabi (2013) auf. Im Rahmen von SAIREC werden auf Ministerebene und anderen politischen EntscheidungsträgerInnen sowie FachexpertInnen und VertreterInnen des privaten, nicht staatlichen und tertiären Sektors Lösungen des erhöhten globalen Einsatzes von erneuerbaren Energien diskutiert.

Im Rahmen eines side events werden den TeilnehmerInnen der Konferenz die bisherigen Ergebnisse von SOLTRAIN vorgestellt. Die OEZA fördert dieses side event und trägt zu den Konferenzkosten bei.

Die erwarteten Ergebnisse sind:

- die bisherigen Ergebnissen von SOLTRAIN werden den ca. 1.500 TeilneherInnen an SAIREC im Rahmen eines Ausstellungsstandes und eines side events präsentiert

- die SOLTRAIN Partner nutzen die Tagung zum Erfahrungsaustausch und Vernetzung um den Anwendungshorizont für thermische Solaranlagen zu erweitern.

Bis jetzt haben sich ca. 1.500 Personen für die Teilnahme an SAIREC registriert, davon ca. 500 RegierungsvertreterInnen, 500 Geschäftstreibende, 225 AkademikerInnen und 300 VertreterInnen der Zivilgesellschaft.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
