Overall goal


Die 3-tägige Kunst- und Kulturveranstaltung SALON CHEZ ELLES in Linz (OÖ) steht ganz im Zeichen des Dialoges und Austausches mit Feministinnen aus Afrika, der afrikanischen Diaspora und Lateinamerika. Ziel ist es, unterschiedliche Positionen und Strategien von Frauen im Kampf um Gleichberechtigung im globalen Süden sichtbar und hörbar zu machen. Das Vorhaben bringt neue Blickwinkel in den feministischen Diskurs und in die Auseinandersetzung mit Kunst und Kultur. Internationale Allianzen sollen gebildet, Dialoge geführt, Begegnungen und Diskurs mit einem lokalen Publikum forciert werden.

Informations- und Medienarbeit (inkl. Print-, TV-und Radiokooperationen, Festival Website, Facebook, Flyer, Folder, Newsletter etc.) begleiten die Aktionen. Eine breitere regionale Reichweite wird erreicht (rd. 200.000 Personen).

 


Target group / Beneficiaries


Zielgruppen sind primär junge Menschen (ab 17), ein kunst-/kulturinteressiertes Publikum, Diaspora Communities sowie die eingeladenen (inter)nationalen Expertinnen/ Künstlerinnen. Regionale Ausrichtung: Oberösterreich/Linz


Internationale Künstlerinnen, Kulturarbeiterinnen, Aktivistinnen und Theoretikerinnen werden eingeladen, Erfahrungen und Wissen auszutauschen, ihre Projekte vorzustellen, sowie den feministischen Gedankenaustausch weiter zu entwickeln. Die geladenen Gäste sind ausgewiesene ExpertInnen/VertreterInnen zeitgenössischer Kunst und Kulturarbeit unterschiedlicher Sparten sowie feministische Aktivistinnen/Bloggerinnen (u.a. aus Senegal, Brasilien, UK/Nigeria, Kolumbien, Ö/Jamaika, NYC/US, Ghana/D).


Activities


Im Zentrum des Festivals stehen die Salon-Gespräche. Ergänzt wird die Gesprächsreihe von einem thematisch kuratierten Filmprogramm, einem musikalischen und performativen Abendprogramm, einer partizipativen Atelier-Reihe, Podiumsdiskussion sowie einem Begleitprogramm an Linzer Schulen. Der Salon CHEZ ELLES soll in den Räumlichkeiten des OK-Zentrum in Linz eingerichtet werden. Das Offene Kulturhaus (OK) ist im OÖ Kulturquartier situiert – inkl. Mediendeck, Kino, Ausstellungsräume und Bars. Informations- und Medienarbeit begleiten das Veranstaltungsprogramm. Neben dem Austausch mit der lokalen Kunst-, Kultur- und Jugendszene wird auch auf (inter)nationaler Ebene Vernetzung forciert.

Context


Das Festival baut auf Erfahrungen, Know-how und der lokalen und internationalen Vernetzung der Akteure in der Kunst-, Kultur-, Frauen- und Jugendarbeit auf.

Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 12.000, 00 (52,17% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.
