Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität im Sertão Baiano, durch die Schaffung von Referenzmodellen für Lebensmöglichkeiten in semi-ariden Gebieten und durch die Erringung der Bürgerrechte.


Spezifische Ziele

Schaffung, Stärkung und Verbreitung von Praktiken der partizipativen Planung, der an semi-aride Verhältnisse angepassten Wirtschafts- und Lebensweisen und der Erringung der Bürgerrechte,

mit Priorität für die Sicherung der Wasserversorgung, die Sicherung der Ernährung und die Erhöhung der Familien-Einkommen, und für die Partizipation der Bevölkerung bei der Kontrolle und der Definition der öffentlichen Politiken.


Das Projekt verfolgt eine effektive Unterbrechung der Entstehung von Armut und Marginalisierung in der Region durch eine veränderte öffentliche Politik. Um dies zu erreichen, ist ein Bündel von integrierten und komplementären Maßnahmen vorgesehen, die in drei Arbeitsprogramme gegliedert sind: (1) Agroökologie - zur Ernährungssicherung und Erhöhung der Familieneinkommen; (2) Wasser im Sertão - zur Sicherung der Wasserversorgung und (3) Aktive Bürgerbeteiligung - zur Stärkung der Partizipation der Bevölkerung an der Kontrolle und bei der Definition der öffentlichen Politiken.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
