Short Description:

Overall goal


kulturen in bewegung (VIDC) gilt als die Drehscheibe für entwicklungspolitische Kulturarbeit in Österreich. Beratung, KünstlerInnen-Vermittlung, Kultur(austausch)projekte, Diskurs, Netzwerkarbeit und Lobbying bilden die Grundlage für die angestrebte stärkere Integration von künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen und kulturellen Initiativen aus aller Welt in den heimischen/europäischen Kunst-, Kultur- und Bildungsbetrieb sowie für die Sensibilisierung der Akteure in Kunst/Kultur und EZA für den Ansatz "Kultur und Entwicklung" in der Projekt- und Programmarbeit.

Geplante Schwerpunkte der Aktivitäten im Jahr 2007 sind u.a. Weltkulturtage - Moving Cultures zum Thema Millenniums-Ziele (MDGs) in Oberösterreich (Mühlviertel) im Juni, Kulturschwerpunkt & ExpertInnen-Forum zum OEZA-Partnerland Nepal im Sept/Okt, Projektbegleitung Entwicklungstheater Uganda sowie die Ausweitung der Themen- und Netzwerkarbeit Kultur & Entwicklung (u.a. europäische Kooperationen wie EU-Netzwerkkonferenz "Culture & Development"; "Governance Culture" bzw. "Social Capital Formation" für OEZA/ADA; Round Tables, Aufbau Interessensnetzwerken), außerdem regelmäßige Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (u.a. Website, E-Newsletter, Folder ¿ECHO', Medienkooperationen) sowie Beratung und Kulturvermittlung.

Als Zielgruppen angesprochen werden v.a. eine breitere kunst- und kulturinteressierte Öffentlichkeit, SchülerInnen/Jugendliche, KünstlerInnen, VeranstalterInnen, MigrantInnen, ExpertInnen (Kunst/Kultur, EZA) sowie die Medien.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 275.000,- (90,76 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens in Höhe von EUR 302.988,25,-) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
