Overall goal


Zentrales Anliegen von VIDC-kulturen in bewegung (kibe) ist es, künstlerische Ausdrucksformen und kulturelle Initiativen aus aller Welt verstärkt in den heimischen Kultur-, Kunst- und Bildungsbetrieb zu integrieren. Das Projekt stellt eine Fortführung und Weiterentwicklung der Arbeit von VIDC-kibe dar.

2012-2013 werden 10 spezifische kulturelle Projekte entwickelt und vermittelt. Zu den weiteren Maßnahmen zählen die Qualifizierung und Kompetenzerweiterung von und der partizipatorische Diskurs mit KünstlerInnen, Austauschprojekte mit Kunst- und Kulturschaffenden aus dem Süden, die kontinuierliche Servicetätigkeit (Beratung, Vermittlung), begleitende Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie Netzwerkarbeit mit verstärktem Fokus auf Social Media und Web 2.0. Inhaltlich und in spezifischen Projekten werden Schwerpunkte zu Umwelt/Nachhaltigkeit (Rio+20), Geschlechtergerechtigkeit, Menschenrechten in Konfliktregionen, Afrika-Klischees in Österreich und Weltmusik gesetzt. Auf breiter Kooperationsbasis werden Kunstprojekte im öffentlichen Raum, Ausstellungen, Musikprogramme, Performances, Filmveranstaltungen, Vernetzungsplattformen und Workshop-Reihen durchgeführt. Neue strategische Allianzen mit etablierten Kulturinstitutionen werden eingegangen, die Zusammenarbeit mit bewährten PartnerInnen wird fortgesetzt. Empowerment, Partizipation und Qualifizierung von migrantischen KünstlerInnen wird mit spezifischen Angeboten für den Bereich Bildende/Darstellende Kunst fortgeführt. Zu den Dialoggruppen zählen KünstlerInnen, Kulturveranstalter, Bildungs- und freizeitpädagogische Einrichtungen, MigrantInnen, NRO, kommunale Initiativen und Gemeinden, die Medien sowie eine breite kulturinteressierte Öffentlichkeit.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von insgesamt Euro 550.000,- (84,99 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
