TeilA: Servicestelle und Veranstalter für entwicklungspolitische Kultur- und Kunstprojekte

kulturen in bewegung (VIDC) gilt als die Drehscheibe für entwicklungspolitische Kulturarbeit in Österreich. Beratung, KünstlerInnen-Vermittlung, Kultur(austausch)projekte, Diskurs, Netzwerkarbeit und Lobbying bilden die Grundlage für die angestrebte stärkere Integration von künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen und kulturellen Initiativen aus aller Welt in den heimischen/europäischen Kunst-, Kultur- und Bildungsbetrieb sowie für die Sensibilisierung der Akteure in Kunst/Kultur und EZA für den Ansatz "Kultur und Entwicklung" in der Projekt- und Programmarbeit. In Hinblick auf die Fußball-WM 2010 in Südafrika werden die Aktivitäten 2009 im Zeichen der Vorbereitung eines großen geplanten Netzwerkprojektes "Afrika 20-10" im Rahmen der entwicklungspolitischen Bildungs-, Kultur- u. Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in Österreich stehen. Angesprochene Zielgruppen sind eine breitere kunst- und kulturinteressierte Öffentlichkeit, SchülerInnen/Jugendliche, KünstlerInnen, VeranstalterInnen, MigrantInnen, ExpertInnen (Kunst/Kultur, EZA) sowie die Medien.

TeilB: FairPlay-Aktionsprogramm 2009: Sport, Interkulturalität und Entwicklung

Die Initiative FairPlay.Viele Farben.Ein Spiel wurde 1997 am Wiener Institut für Entwicklungsfragen (vidc) anlässlich des EU-Jahres gegen Rassismus gestartet. Als Interventionsfeld zur gesellschaftlichen Transformation wurde dabei der Sport - insbesondere der Fußball - gewählt. Fair Play führt seither mit Vereinen, Fanclubs, MigrantInnenorganisationen und Schulen interkulturelle/antirassistische Aktivitäten im österreichischen Fußball und Sport durch. In Hinblick auf die Fußball-WM 2010 in Südafrika werden die Aktivitäten 2009 im Zeichen der Vorbereitung des o.g. Netzwerkprojektes stehen (Strategiepapier). Weiters wird die Netzwerks- und Lobbyingarbeit zum Ansatz "Sport für Entwicklung" fortgesetzt. Zielgruppen sind Fußballfans und -interessierte, Sportorganisationen/-vereine,

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
