Overall goal


Das VIDC, als Träger der Servicestelle "kulturen in bewegung", hat im Jahr 2005 seine bisherige über 10jährige Tätigkeit als Drehscheibe und Kompetenzzentrum für Kunst und Kultur aus Asien/Orient, Afrika und Lateinamerika/Karibik und als Anlaufstelle für Kulturschaffende aus dem Süden reflektiert und unternimmt im Jahr 2006 einen Relaunch. Die Servicestelle verfolgte bislang vor allem das Ziel, künstlerische Produktionen aus Entwicklungsländern verstärkt im heimischen Unterhaltungs-, Kunst- und Kulturbetrieb einzusetzen. "kulturen in bewegung" sah sich als Bindeglied zwischen der (freien) Kunst- und Kulturszene, MigrantInnen sowie dem entwicklungspolitischen Sektor.

Durch das Projekt werden im besonderen die folgenden Tätigkeiten gefördert:

Beratung und Vermittlung, Organisation und Management (Vermittlungen von KünstlerInnen, Beratungen, Kulturmanagement, Workshop-Angebote, Informationsvermittlung und Hilfestellungen bei Projekten). Für etablierte KünstlerInnen werden nur noch Kontakte hergestellt.

Projektentwicklungen und Netzwerkarbeit, Diskurs zu Kultur und Entwicklung (Programm- und Projektentwicklungen mit nationalen und internationalen PartnerInnen, Fortführung der Diskussion zu "Kunst, Kultur & Entwicklung", Gestaltung von Netzwerken auf österreichischer - und v.a. auf europäischer - Ebene, Unterstützung von Ensembles aus dem Süden sowie die Förderung von Süd-Süd-Austausch)

Dokumentation und Information (Aufbau einer Datenbank, Betreuung Website, Infofolder "echo", JournalistInnen-Betreuung, Anfragenbeantwortung)

Die grundsätzlichen Zielsetzungen und die Dialoggruppen bleiben dabei unverändert. Zu letzteren zählen weiterhin das Kulturpublikum, Kinder und Jugendliche, entwicklungspolitisch Interessierte sowie die Öffentlichkeit über die Medien. Einen besonderen Schwerpunkt 2006 bildet die koordinierende Mitwirkung am Projekt Onda Latina.

Das Projekt wird für bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 298.450,- in der Höhe von

EUR 268.605,- (90,00 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
