Short Description:

Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Wissensgrundlage von Gemeinschaften, insbesondere von Jugendlichen, in Burundi, in den Provinzen Bujumbura (Kanyosha und Musaga) und Gitega (Gitega and Makebuko), in Bezug auf sexuelle und reproduktive Rechte zu stärken. Damit soll zur Sensibilisierung, Förderung und zum Schutz von sexuellen und reproduktiven Rechten, einschließlich eines Dialogs über sexuelle und reproduktive Gesundheit in Burundi beigetragen werden.

Bewusstseinsbildung auf diesem Gebiet ist nicht nur eine Frage der Menschenrechte, sondern auch eine die öffentliche Gesundheit betreffende Angelegenheit (steigende HIV/AIDS-Quote).

Zielgruppen: SchulklubleiterInnen und SchülerInnen; Mitglieder der Zivilgesellschaft (LehrerInnen, Eltern, RepräsentantInnen des Nationalen Kinderforums und Mitglieder des Kinderschutz-Komitees); Solidaritätsgruppenmitglieder; Beauftragte des Bildungsministeriums (zur Einbindung der Thematik in das Curriculum und damit in das nationale Bildungssystem).


Erwartete Resultate:

1. Empowerment: Mädchen und junge Frauen haben Bewusstsein über und Zugang zu sexueller und reproduktiver Gesundheitsversorgung, zu Beratungseinrichtungen für Familienplanung und zu Rechtshilfe.

2. Capacity Building: Mitgliedern der Gemeinschaft werden Plattformen für Dialoge über sexuelle Bildung und sexuelle und reproduktive Rechte, mit Fokus auf Rechte von jungen Frauen und Mädchen, zur Verfügung gestellt, um eine vorurteilsfreie und sichere Umwelt für Mädchen und junge Frauen zu schaffen, in der sie ihre Rechte beanspruchen können.

3. Advocacy: Führungskräfte des Sozialsektors, BildungsadministratorInnen und andere BeamtInnen, verfügen über eine verbesserte Wissensbasis in Bezug auf sexuelle und reproduktive Rechte und betreiben vermehrt Kommunikation mit lokalen Akteuren, durch Workshops und andere Dialogplattformen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
