Overall goal


'Somos diferentes, somos iguales' ist ein Programm zur Gender-Sensibilisierung und HIV/AIDS-Prävention, das durch bilaterale Geber und internationale Nichtregierungsorganisationen finanziert wird. Nach der erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit mit Puntos de Encuentro in der Vergangenheit beteiligt sich die OEZA erneut an einer Basket-Finanzierung zur Umsetzung des Drei-Jahres-Programms 2006-2008.


Zu den inhaltlichen Schwerpunkten dieses neuen Drei-Jahres-Programms von Puntos de Encuentro gehören eine stärkere Beteiligung der Organisation an der öffentlichen Debatte zu Themen wie die Gleichberechtigung von Frauen und Männern sowie die programmatische und finanzielle Nachhaltigkeit der Organisation. Dafür werden gezielt Massenmedien eingesetzt: Puntos de Encuentro produziert ein eigenes Fernsehprogramm (Sexto Sentido, im Dezember 2004 mit einem der wichtigsten Dokumentarfilmpreise auf dem Gebiet der AIDS-Prävention in den USA ausgezeichnet) sowie ein Radioprogramm. Im Mittelpunkt steht weiters ein Fortbildungsprogramm für Jugendliche.

Puntos de Encuentro strebt die regionale Verbreitung ihrer Sensibilisierungs-Strategie (SDSI) durch Netzwerkbildung und zunehmende Nutzung der produzierten Dokumentationsmaterialien durch NROs in den zentralamerikanischen Nachbarländer an.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
