Overall goal


Soziale Absicherung und Dienstleistungen sind für ältere Menschen in Moldau Mangelware. Die durchschnittlichen Pensionszahlungen sind niedriger als die minimalen Lebenshaltungskosten, öffentliche Betreuungs- und Pflegeeinrichtungen sind unzureichend und in schlechtem Zustand. Um diesen Missständen entgegenzutreten, unterstützt der Verein Concordia die Republik Moldau beim Aufbau und Erhalt eines landesweiten Netzwerkes von sozialen Einrichtungen bestehend aus 12 Sozialzentren und 48 Suppenküchen, die älteren und pflegebedürftigen Personen medizinische Erstversorgung, psychologische Betreuung sowie barrierefreie Wohneinheiten mit Sanitäranlagen und Aufenthaltsräumen bieten.


Im Rahmen dieses Projekts wird in der Gemeinde Tirnova im Norden des Landes, der von Emigration besonders stark betroffen ist, die existierende Suppenküche in ein modernes, behindertengerecht gestaltetes Sozialzentrum umgewandelt, wodurch wird die Betreuungsleistung von 50 auf 150 Personen verdreifacht wird. Das Sozialzentrum soll die Versorgung der bedürftigen, alten Menschen in Tirnova langfristig sichern. Dazu wird eng mit der Gemeinde Tirnova wie auch dem Ministerium für Soziales kooperiert, das Grundstück für das Sozialzentrum wie auch weitere Naturalien erbringen. Den 12 Angestellten des Sozialzentrums werden damit auch ein gesicherter Arbeitsplatz in einem modern ausgestatteten Umfeld und somit auch eine Zukunftsperspektive geboten. In Trainings und Seminaren werden junge MitarbeiterInnen in den Bereichen Ernährung, Hygiene, Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz, Arbeitskultur und Altenpflege ausgebildet.
