Overall goal


Das Projekt "Spanisch lernen León/Nicaragua" soll lokale touristische Mikro-, Klein- und Mittelbetriebe unterstützen und damit insgesamt zu einer nachhaltigen touristischen und wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung der Partnerstadt León beitragen.

Ein vereinseigener Non-Profit-Reiseveranstalter der Städtepartnerschaft Salzburg - León soll gegründet werden und durch gezielte Werbung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit Sprachreisen nach León anbieten sowie Buchungen durchführen. Ein in León gemietetes Büro bietet die notwendige Infrastruktur vor Ort.

Ziel ist es, während der ersten zwei Projektjahre zumindest 250 Buchungen über drei Wochen erfolgreich und mit zufriedenen KundInnen abzuwickeln. Dies würde in León eine Wertschöpfung von rund einer halben Million Dollar generieren.

Zielgruppen:

Fünf Sprachschulen;

ein Sprachzentrum ("Centro de Idiomas") der UNAN - León;

eine Kooperative privater Zimmervermieter aus zehn Familien;

zahlreiche andere touristische Kooperativen, wie etwa die indigen Frauen von Sutiaba, andere Frauenkooperationen oder ländliche Kooperationen;

acht Hotels bzw. Hostels der verschiedenen Kategorien;

rund 15 Familien am Land, die in die diversen Freizeitprogramme der SprachschülerInnen eingebunden werden;

PraktikantInnen, StudentInnen der Tourismusfakultät León

Resultate:

Höhere Einnahmen für die lokalen touristischen Partner;

Stärkung ihrer Wettbewerbsfähigkeit;

bessere Auslastung der Partnerbetriebe;

höhere Bekanntheit für die Destination in Europa, besonders in den europäischen Partnerstädten der Stadt León;

Verankerung der Stadt León als Sprachschulen-Destination;

Fortbildung der lokalen Partner;

Stärkung der lokalen touristischen Infrastruktur;

Intensivere Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der europäischen Städtepartnerschaften.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
