Overall goal


Ziel ist es, in den nächsten zwei Jahren, die geografische Reichweite der Aktivitäten von RED NOSES Palestine zu erweitern, um so neue Zielgruppen (SeniorInnen, Flüchtlinge) zu erreichen und die psychosoziale Unterstützung der Hauptzielgruppe, Kinder im Spital, mit neuen Methoden während besonders belastenden Untersuchungen zu vertiefen. Der interkulturelle und Know-How Austausch zwischen palästinensischen und europäischen KünstlerInnen ist weiterhin ein wichtiger Bestandteil und Fokus des Projekts. (Beitrag zu SDGs 3 - "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages", 16 - "Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels")


Expected results


1. Erhöhte psychosoziale Resilienz und emotionales und gesundheitliches Wohlbefinden von benachteiligten Gruppen (SeniorInnen in geriatrischen Einrichtungen in Palästina, Flüchtlingen in UNRWA Einrichtungen, PatientInnen im Spital, insbesondere Kinder, in elf Krankenhäusern mit pädiatrischen Einrichtungen im Westjordanland und Ost-Jerusalem, sowie ein Pilotprojekt in Gaza)

2. Verbesserte Gesundheitseinrichtungen durch Workshops mit dem medizinischen Personal in elf Krankenhäusern

3. Fortlaufende Ausbildung von bestehenden und neuen KünstlerInnen und verbesserte Führungskompetenz von RED NOSES Palästina MitarbeiterInnen.

4. Erhöhte Akzeptanz und Bewusstsein für die Wichtigkeit von psychischer Gesundheit in palästinensischen Gesundheits- und Sozialeinrichtungen


Target group / Beneficiaries


Das Projekt findet in den Palästinensischen Gebieten statt. RED NOSES Einsätze werden im Westjordanland durchgeführt und, sollte es die politische Situation vor Ort erlauben, sind punktuelle Projektaktivitäten im Gazastreifen geplant.


Zielgruppen:

- SeniorInnen: 520 ältere Menschen in 7 sozialen Einrichtungen für SeniorenInnen und Krankenhäusern;

- Kinder: 10.174 Kinder in Spitälern;

- Flüchtlinge: 750 Kinder in Flüchtlingslagern;

- Medizinisches Personal: 300 Teilnehmerinnen an “Humor in Healthcare” Workshops;

- KünstlerInnen: fünf neue KünstlerInnen, davon mindestens drei Frauen, werden im Projektzeitraum ausgebildet;


Activities


Clowninterventionen in Einrichtungen für SeniorInnen, Krankenhäusern und Flüchtlingslagern, größtenteils im Westjordanland und Ost-Jerusalem, aber auch in Gaza; “Humour in Healthcare” Workshops für medizinisches Personal; Ausbildung von fünf neuen RED NOSES Palestine KünstlerInnen, Fortbildung für KünstlerInnen und administrative Kräfte von RED NOSES Palestine; Advocacy und PR Maßnahmen; interkultureller und Know-How Austausch zwischen palästinensischen und europäischen KünstlerInnen;


Context


Die Situation in Palästina bleibt unvorhersehbar und unterliegt politischen Entwicklungen, die sowohl aus dem israelisch-palästinensischen Konflikt, als auch aus der innenpolitischen Situation resultieren. Die Teilung des Palästinensischen Gebietes bleibt unverändert und wirkt sich weiterhin stark auf das tägliche Leben der PalästinenserInnen und die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung des Landes aus. Wichtige öffentliche Dienstleistungen können oft nicht bereitgestellt werden. Das Gesundheitswesen in den palästinensischen Gebieten bietet aktuell nur eine unzureichende psychosoziale Unterstützung der PatientInnen in Krankenhäusern. Durch die fortbestehende Teilung des Gebietes, können sich PalästinenserInnen, auch in Notsituationen, wie dem Krankenhausaufenthalt eines engen Familienmitglieds, in ihrem eigenen Land nicht frei bewegen und diese begleiten. Basierend auf wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und künstlerischen Erfahrungen bildet RNI darstellende KünstlerInnen zu Clowndoctors aus. Humor ist ein wichtiger Resilienzfaktor und eine wesentliche Komponente, um Wege aus einer Krise zu finden.


Der OEZA-Kofinanzierungsanteil beträgt 64,97 Prozent.
