Overall goal


Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, die anwaltschaftliche Arbeit der österreichischen entwicklungspolitischen NRO zu stärken, das heißt die aktive Mitgestaltung von Entwicklungspolitik, EZA und Humanitärer Hilfe auf nationaler wie EU-Ebene zu forcieren. Weiters trägt das Projekt zur Professionalisierung der NRO im Bereich Akquisition und Management von Entwicklungsprojekten bei.


Die Leistungen umfassen Aktivitäten in zwei Bereichen:

1) DIALOG zu Entwicklungspolitik, EU-EZA und Humanitäre Hilfe

Informationsarbeit zu europäischer Entwicklungspolitik und Humanitärer Hilfe

Kommunizieren der Anliegen österreichischer NRO an politische AnspruchsträgerInnen

Auf- und Ausbau der Kommunikationsbasis mit AnspruchsträgerInnen

2) SERVICE zu Projektakquise und -management

Ermöglichen von Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustausch bezüglich Projektfinanzierungen

Organisation von Weiterbildung und Beratung zu EU-Kofinanzierungen und Projektmanagement


Erwartete Resultate:

- Österreichische NRO haben ein fundiertes Wissen zu politischen und strukturellen Entwicklungen der EU-Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Humanitären Hilfe.

- Ein kontinuierlicher Dialog zwischen VertreterInnen österreichischer NRO und europäischen AnspruchsträgerInnen ist etabliert.

- Positionen der österreichischen NRO werden in relevante Konsultationen und Entscheidungsprozesse auf EU-Ebene eingebracht.

- Österreichische NRO verfügen über Know-how zu Rahmenbedingungen, Anforderungen und Möglichkeiten von EU-Kofinanzierungen.

- Österreichische NRO haben Zugang zu Expertise und Beratung für EU-Kofinanzierungen und Projektmanagement.

    • EU - Funds of the European Commission
    • Others - various other donors are listed in ADA’s annual business report.
  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
