Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist die Stärkung der Humankapazitäten im Bereich der Nachfrage nach Gesundheitsdiensten der multiethnischen Bevölkerung der Autonomen Nördlichen Atlantikregion Nicaraguas (RAAN).

Die RAAN ist u.a. durch geringe Lebenserwartung, hohe Fruchtbarkeitsraten, einer hohen Müttersterblichkeit sowie einer hohen Kindersterblichkeitsrate charakterisiert.

Die Autoritäten der RAAN entwickelten in enger Abstimmung und Koordination mit dem Gesundheitsministerium ein autonomes Gesundheitsmodell, welches auf einem familiär-gemeinschaftlichen Pflegemodell beruht und das Individuum - in seinem / ihren familiär und gemeinschaftlichen Kontext - in den Mittelpunkt stellt (MASIRAAN). Die Einführung dieses Pflegemodells beinhaltet ein Modell der integralen, persönlichen, partizipativen und vorwiegend auf präventiven Aspekten beruhenden Behandlung und Pflege. Diese Umstellung brachte auch gewisse Limitationen des Gesundheitspersonals zu Tage, auf alle Bedürfnisse einer multiethnischen Bevölkerung eingehen zu können.

Das Vorhaben trägt zur definitiven Etablierung dieses neuen Modells der Gesundheitsvorsorge bei.

Zielgruppe(n):

Direkt:

140 Krankenschwestern, 28 Sanitäter, 12 Ärzte und 45 Vertreter/innen der Gesundheitsbehörde, ca. 250 Gesundheitsmitarbeiter/innen (Führungspersonen im Gesundheitsbereich, traditionelle Heiler/innen) und 390 Führungspersonen auf Gemeindeebene der 135 hauptsächlich indigenen Gemeinden

Indirekt:

Etwa 102.000 Bewohner/innen, hauptsächlich Indigene der Ethnien Miskitu und Mayangna der Bezirke Bonanza, Prinzapolka und Río Coco der RAAN.

Erwartete Resultate (analog zum Ansuchen an die EK):

1. In allen Gemeinden gibt es funktionierende Gesundheitskommissionen auf Gemeindeebene.

2. Es hat sich ein Modell der familiär - gemeinschaftlichen Gesundheitsvorsorge in den drei Bezirken etabliert.

3. Es herrscht Kenntnis über den Bedarf der Entwicklung von Humanressourcen auf regionaler Ebene.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
