Stärkung von NGOs – Beteiligung am Politikdialog/Strengthening capacities of CSOs engaging in Policy Dialogue

Overall goal


Das Pilotprogramm wird von einem Konsortium bestehend aus 5 österreichischen NGOs (HORIZONT3000, SOS-Kinderdorf Österreich, Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz, Caritas Österreich und Care Österreich) gemeinsam mit 7 lokalen Partnerorganisationen in Kenia, Tansania und Uganda umgesetzt. Zielsetzung ist die Stärkung der Kapazitäten von ostafrikanischen und österreichischen NGOs im Bereich Politikdialog und Advocacy. Dadurch soll das Engagement der Zivilgesellschaft für einen wirksameren Politikdialog gefördert werden. Inhaltlich umspannt das Vorhaben Themen rund um Ernährungssouveränität, Rechte von Kindern/ Jugendlichen und Frauen-Empowerment. Die Zielgruppe des Programms umfasst 7 lokale Partnerorganisationen in Ostafrika, mit ca. 20 Personen die direkt von Trainings, Lern- und Austausch-Treffen profitieren sowie die 5 österreichischen Konsortialpartner, von denen rund 15 Personen direkt an Lern- und Austausch-Treffen teilnehmen. Dieses Pilot-Programm peilt eine Multiplizierbarkeit der dokumentierten Good Practices und Empfehlungen an. Aktivitäten: Grundlagenarbeit zu Politikdialog und Bestandsaufnahme von Aktivitäten und Erfahrungen lokaler Partner, Kick-Off Veranstaltung in Ostafrika, Erarbeitung einer gemeinsamen Vision für CSO Engagement in Politikdialog, Identifizierung von Maßnahmen für Kapazitätenentwicklung von ostafrikanischen und österreichischen Partnern, Planung und Implementierung einer Sequenz an Trainings in Ostafrika, Zur Verfügung stellen von -Small project funds- für ausgewählte Politikdialog-Aktivitäten von ostafrikanischen Partnerorganisationen, Aufarbeitung und Dokumentation von Erfahrungen/ Good Practices von CSO Engagement in Politikdialog, Planung und Implementierung von Lern- und Austausch-Treffen in Ostafrika und Wien, Erarbeitung von Empfehlungen zu CSO Engagement im Politikdialog, Abschluss-Event mit Präsentation der Empfehlungen.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
