Overall goal


Maya Paya Kimsa hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, mit einer professionellen Straßenarbeit für die Straßenkinder in El Alto eine Brückenfunktion von der Straße in eine geeignete Wohneinrichtung oder auch zurück in ihr Elternhaus zu übernehmen. Der Zeitraum, den die Kinder auf der Straße verbringen, soll auf ein Minimum reduziert werden, jedoch unter Berücksichtigung einer höchstmöglichen Stabilität in dem Heim, das sie aufnimmt.


# Kauf und Einrichtung eines Tageszentrums für Straßenkinder; Das Haus wird unter dem Namen der "Asociación de Ayuda y Apoyo a Niños y Adolescentes en y de la Calle" gekauft und dient neben der Funktion als Tageszentrum auch als Hauptsitz der gesamten Einrichtung.

# Erstellung eines speziellen Angebotes für Mädchen und junge Frauen, die auf der Straße leben oder sich in hohem Risiko dazu befinden. Dies bedeutet vor allem das Schaffen einer Mädchengruppe als geschützten Raum für die weibliche Zielgruppe, um dort gezielt feministisch relevante Themen behandeln zu können. Darin inbegriffen ist die Anstellung einer weiblichen Betreuerin.

# Angebot eines offenen Tageszentrums für Straßenkinder und -jugendliche. Dadurch soll sich vor allem eine Intensivierung der Einzelfallbetreuungen ergeben. Durch die erweiterten Möglichkeiten für die Heimvorbereitung und den intensiveren Kontakt mit den Kindern kann mit einer höheren Stabilität und einem größeren Durchhaltevermögen bei einem Eintritt in eine Wohneinrichtung gerechnete werden.
