Overall goal


Das Südfilmfest Amstetten findet von 21.-23. Juli 2011 zum 22. Mal statt. Ziel des Festivals ist, mit Filmen aus Afrika, Asien und Lateinamerika möglichst viele Menschen in der Region Mostviertel/ Amstetten auf entwicklungspolitische Themen aufmerksam zu machen.

An drei Veranstaltungstagen sind Filmvorführungen mit anschließenden Diskussionen sowie ein attraktives kulturelles Begleitprogramm geplant. Nach Möglichkeit werden die RegisseurInnen der Filme zur Veranstaltung eingeladen. Das Projekt bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Begegnungen der BewohnerInnen im Mostviertel mit dort lebenden MigrantInnen sowie mit den angereisten Gästen. Kooperationspartner des Südfilmfests sind das Internationale Filmfestival Innsbruck und Trigonfilm Schweiz.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 12.000 in der Höhe von Euro 5.000 (41,67%) gefördert.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
