Overall goal


Das Südfilmfest Amstetten findet von 19.-21. Juli 2012 zum 23. Mal statt.


Ziel des Südfilmfests ist, mit Filmen aus Afrika, Asien und Südosteuropa möglichst viele Menschen in der Region Mostviertel/ Amstetten auf entwicklungspolitische Themen aufmerksam zu machen. Auf anschauliche und unterhaltsame Weise sollen Information über globale Zusammenhänge vermittelt und verschiedene Sichtweisen auf globale Themen dargestellt werden.


An drei Veranstaltungstagen sind Filmvorführungen mit anschließenden Filmgesprächen und Diskussionen mit ExpertInnen sowie ein kulturelles Begleitprogramm (u.a. mit Ausstellung und Konzert afrikanischer KünstlerInnen) geplant. Das Programm bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Begegnungen von Menschen unterschiedlicher Herkunft. Nach Möglichkeit werden auch RegisseurInnen der Filme zu den Veranstaltungen eingeladen.


Kooperationspartner des Südfilmfests sind das Internationale Filmfestival Innsbruck, Umweltberatung NÖ sowie mehrere MigrantInnenvereine.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 12.780,- in der Höhe von Euro 5.000,- (39,12 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
