Overall goal


Mit dem Projekt Treffpunkt:Kaukasus soll eine Plattform für den Wissensaustausch und Dialog über die Region Kaukasus geschaffen werden. Die Plattform schafft Raum für Begegnung, in dem AkteurInnen aus Zivilgesellschaft und Wirtschaft in einen Dialog treten und sich vernetzen können. Eine inhaltlich qualifizierte und vielseitige Auseinandersetzung mit der politischen, wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Situation in der Region wird angestrebt. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, durch die Initiierung eines Dialogs die Voraussetzungen für entwicklungspolitisch und CSR-relevante Kooperationen zwischen den beiden Sektoren zu schaffen. Die Veranstaltungsreihe besteht aus sechs vierteljährlich abgehaltenen Abendveranstaltungen mit thematischen Schwerpunkten. Die Ergebnisse der Reihe werden in einem abschließenden öffentlichen Fachsymposium zusammengeführt und in Form von Workshops vertiefend behandelt. Begleitend wird eine Abschlusspublikation erstellt. Primäre Zielgruppen sind österreichische Nichtregierungsorganisationen (NRO) und Unternehmen, die in den Ländern der Region bereits aktiv sind oder an einem Engagement Interesse haben; darüber hinaus werden interessierte Fachkreise wie VertreterInnen öffentlicher Institutionen, JournalistInnen, MultiplikatorInnen des Bildungssektors sowie eine breitere Öffentlichkeit angesprochen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 60.000,- (89,99% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 1.9.2013-31.3.2015 (19 Monate).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
