Overall goal


Das Interdisziplinäre Forschungsinstitut für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (IEZ) der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz zielt auf Aufbau von Wissen und Bewusstseinsbildung über die glokalen Zusammenhänge im Kontext von Umwelt, Entwicklung, Nachhaltigkeit. Dabei sollen die politischen Handlungserfordernisse herausgearbeitet und die eigenen Hand-lungsmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt werden. Hintergrund des Projekts ist die Rio+20-Konferenz 2012. Das Projekt trägt auf regionaler Ebene zur verstärkten Diskussion von globalen Themen bei, die Vernetzung mit regionalen Akteuren wird intensiviert. Es werden zwei Dialogrunden durchgeführt: Begrenzte Ressourcen, Nachhaltige Entwicklung und Global Governance und Zukunftsfähige Landwirtschaft und Ernährungssicherung/-souveränität. Die Veranstaltungen finden in Gmunden und Linz statt, renommierte WissenschafterInnen/ExpertInnen werden eingeladen. Dialogpartner sind die Städte Linz und Gmunden, das Land Oberösterreich sowie regionale Initiativen/Institutionen wie Frauen in Bewegung, ökonomische Initiativen, Regionalmanagement, OÖ Zukunftsakademie, Klimabündnis und Agrarbildungszentrum.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 8.000,- (42,11% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
