Overall goal


Im Rahmen des Projektes Nr. 8002-02/2003 wird eine Umweltsanierungsmaßnahme in Baia Borsa gefördert, einem traditionellen Bergwerksgebiet im Kreis Maramures, Rumänien. Ziel des Projektes ist es zu verhindern, dass eine ähnliche Katastrophe wie im Jahr 2000 passiert, bei der es durch die Vergiftung der Theiß zu einer internationalen Umweltkatastrophe kam.

Parallel dazu läuft das gegenständliche Projekt: Zwecks Prüfung des durch den staatlichen Bergwerksbetrieb REMIN vorgelegten Projektantrags und zwecks unabhängigen Monitorings zur Sicherstellung der korrekten Projektabwicklung ist aufgrund der technischen Besonderheit des Vorhabens ein getrenntes Monitoring erforderlich. Die Vergabe dieses Auftrags, der sich innerhalb der Grenze von EUR 30.000,- für freihändige Vergaben befindet, erfolgt an das Büro Zinke, das seit Jahren mit der Problematik bestens vertraut ist. Das Büro Zinke wird einen Deponieexperten der Montanuniversität Leoben und einen rumänischen Bergbauingenieur beiziehen, sodass eine optimale Durchführung des Hauptprojekts sichergestellt ist.
