UP Implementierung eines akademischen e-Learning Programmes in Ghana

Overall goal


Das Projekt erstellt in Zusammenarbeit mit dem African University College of Communication (AUCC) in Ghana ein Bacherlorprogramm mit Fernlehre und E-Learning. Ziel ist es die Professoren, die Administration und das technische Personal der Universität langfristig zu stärken. Fernlehrprogramme sollen selbstständig erstellt, implementiert und gelehrt werden.


Expected results


In einem Pilotversuch sollen zuerst 20 StudentInnen Zugang zu Fernlehre haben. So können Erkenntnisse für den Ausbau des E-Learning-Angebots der AUCC gewonnen werden. Bis zu 100 Personen werden mittels Fernlehre, E-Learning, Webinaren, und dem Pilotversuch geschult. Weitere Programme bzw. Kurse sollen von der AUCC eigenständig auf Fernlehre umgesetzt werden.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Durch die Einsetzung von E-Learning kann der Kreis der Studierenden erweitert werden. Personen, denen zeitliche oder finanziellen Ressourcen zum Besuch einer Präsenzuniversität fehlen, wie insbesondere Frauen, können ein akademisches Studium abschließen.


Activities


Zur Erreichung der Ziele sind folgende Maßnahmen geplant:

1) Evaluierung der einzelnen Kurse der Lehrgänge und Auswahl der Professoren ( 1.5.2016 - 30.6.2016)

2) Erstellung der Produktionsmatrix und Setup der Produktivinstanz des LMS (30.6.2016 - 30.8.2016)

3) Erstellung des "Train the Trainer" Kurses (15.5.2016 - 30.10.2016)

4) Workshop vor Ort (November 2016)

5) Erstellung der Kursinhalte (ab November 2016 - 31.3.2017)

6) Aufzeichnung und Implementierung der Kurse (1.4.2017 - 31.7.2017)

7) Aufnahme der ersten Teststudenten in das E-Learning Programm (August 2017)

8) Evaluierungsphase, Verbesserung, Feedback der Teststudenten (Abschluss des ersten Semesters der 20 Teststudenten: Februar 2018)

9) Verbesserungen und Fertigstellung der restlichen Kurse (bis 31.7.2018)

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
