Overall goal


TailoringTogo stärkt die ökonomische und soziale Autonomie von Frauen in Kpalimé und Umgebung durch Schaffung von Ausbildungsplätzen im Rahmen der Expansion eines potentialstarken Produktionsbetriebs im Bereich Batik und Textil.


Expected results


Sechs Unternehmen sind in die Umsetzung des Projekts involviert und ziehen einen unmittelbaren Nutzen durch Know-How Transfer, Kapazitätsentwicklung und Stärkung ihrer Selbstbestimmtheit durch das Projekt. 300 Personen haben einen Nutzen durch die Ausbildung und Arbeitsmöglichkeit im Zuge der Batik-Shops und Lehrverträge. 13 Arbeitsstellen (sieben Vollzeitäquivalente) sowie 20 Ausbildungsplätze werden in den zwei Jahren Projektlaufzeit errichtet. Die Bildungsabschlüsse in den Bereichen Schneiderei und Batik werden staatlich anerkannt.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Sozial benachteiligte junge togolesische Frauen im Alter von 15-25 Jahren aus Kpalimé und Umgebung erhalten eine Ausbildung in Schneiderei und Batik. Zusätzlich werden Frauen in den Bereichen Lehre, Verkauf und Produktion im Zuge des Projekts angestellt und erhalten somit einen sicheren Arbeitsplatz mit fairer Bezahlung. Durch die erworbenen Lehrabschlüsse ist es den Frauen möglich ihre Existenz zu sichern und somit ihre soziale und ökonomische Autonomie zu steigern. Die stetige und nachhaltige Förderung der Ausbildung der Frauen trägt zum lokalen Verständnis der gesamtgesellschaftlichen Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter bei.


Activities


Zur Erreichung des Ziels werden folgende Maßnahmen getroffen:

1. Bau eines technisch und funktional hochwertigen Ausbildungs- und Produktionsgebäudes

2. Schaffung von sicheren, fair bezahlten Arbeitsplätzen für Frauen durch Schulungen und Lehrlingsausbildung

3. Wirtschaftliche Expansion des Produktionsbetriebs und Anstellung von benachteiligten Frauen

4. Ausbildung von jungen Frauen in Kpalimé mit staatlich anerkanntem Lehrabschluss.
