Hintergrund und Problemstellung: Politisch und sozial handelt es sich um ein Projekt zur Bekämfpung von Gewalt an Frauen und Kindern in der Familie. In vielen europäischen Ländern,- insbesonderen auch der Türkei, gibt es zu wenig Frauenhäuser für von Gewalt betroffene Frauen und Kinder.

Ziel des Projekts ist, die Qualitätsstandards für Frauenhilfseinrichtungen, insbesondere für Frauenhäuser zu verbessern und Fraueninitiativen bei der Gründung und dem Ausbau von Frauenhilfseinrichtungen zu unterstützen.

Zielgruppe des Projektes zur "Verbesserung der Qualtitätsstandards in den Frauenhäusern" sind Mitarbeiterinnen von Frauenhäusern in der Türkei, zunächst Istanbul und Umgebung und Mitarbeiterinnen von Frauenorganisationen die ein Frauenhaus gründen wollen.

Kurzfristige Ziele sind die erfolgreiche Durchführung folgender Aktivitäten:

1. Übersetzung des WAVE Manuals "Ein Weg aus der Gewalt"

2. Adaptierung des Train the Trainer Konzepts an die Bedürfnisse in der Türkei

3. Durchführen eines Train the Trainer Seminars/e in Istanbul durch WAVE.

4. Abhalten von mindestens zwei weiteren Train the Trainer Seminaren in der Umgebung von Istanbul deren Leitung Teilnehmerinnen aus dem ersten Seminar übernehmen

Langfristige Ziele: Verbesserung und flächendeckender Ausbau von Frauenhilfseinrichtungen (langfristige Begleitung der Initiativen durch das WAVE Netzwerk und durch unsere türkische Partnerorganisation MorCati).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
