Overall goal


Durch ggst. Zusatzvertrag wird der nachhaltige Abschluss der bisher getätigten Maßnahmen zur Wasserversorgung des Dorfes Bllace in der Gemeinde Suhareka / Suva Reka im Kosovo gesichert. Der Vertrag wird um EUR 44.000,- aufgestockt und bis Ende September 2007 verlängert.


Mithilfe des seit 2004 laufenden Projektes wird das Wasserangebot für die Bewohner von Bllace durch Verbesserungen bei den Quellfassungen und Zuleitungen sowie Investitionen in das Verteilernetz erweitert (u.a. Festlegung der Standorte und Bau der Behälter und Pumpstationen sowie Regelung der Grundeigentumsverhältnisse in Bllace und Brunnenbohrungen). Ziel dieses Projektes sind die Sicherung lebensnotwendiger Infrastruktur sowie die deutliche Verbesserung der Lebens- und Gesundheitsverhältnisse durch die umfassende Versorgung der Bevölkerung mit einwandfreiem Trinkwasser.


Mit den Baumaßnahmen einhergehend ist der Aufbau eines Versorgungsbetriebes (Wasserkomitee Bllace), der Betrieb, Wirtschaftlichkeit und Instandhaltung der Wasserversorgung zur Aufgabe hat.


Durch ggst. Zusatzvertrag werden folgende Komponenten finanziert, die für einen nachhaltigen Abschluss des österreichischen Engagements unabdingbar sind:


¿ Gewährleistung eines professionellen Projektabschlusses durch die bauausführenden Firmen P&P, Protherm und Muqua

¿ Nachhaltigkeit des Projektes, insbesondere auf Grund der technischen Komponenten und Gegebenheiten für die Inbetriebnahme der Wasserversorgungsanlagen (Pumpstationen, Chlorierung, Druckprüfung usw.)

¿ Finanzielle Beteiligung der Municipality und der Community Bllace

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
