Overall goal


Das Europahaus Burgenland versteht sich als Institut für politische Bildung und Informationsstelle für entwicklungs- und europapolitische Fragen. Es setzt seine Tätigkeit als entwicklungspolitische Regionalstelle der Südwind Agentur fort. Diese beinhaltet: Ermunterungen und Beratungen zum Globalen Lernen, Veranstaltungen, eine regelmäßig erscheinende Zeitschrift "Welt(ge)Wissen", eine Bibliothek (im Verbund mit Baobab) mit besonderem Service (Fernleihe, Bereitstellung thematischer Sammlungen), systematische Kooperation mit Schulen, Angebote für die Lehrerinnenbildung, die Vermittlung von ReferentInnen und die Vernetzung mit entwicklungspolitischen AkteurInnen im Inland und auf europäischer Ebene. Die Wahrnehmung der eigenen Region, ihres multikulturellen Erbes, und das Erlernen des kosmopolitischen Blicks auf das Weltgeschehen und die eigene Umwelt sind die zentrale Problemstellung für die Entwicklung von Bildungsmaßnahmen. Die Veranstaltungen werden in den Projektjahren 2011-2013 folgende Schwerpunkte behandeln: 2011: Interkultureller Humanismus in der globalen Entwicklung. 2012: Die/Der handelnde BürgerIn. 2013: Alte Weisheiten und neue Perspektiven für Weltenbürgerschaft.



Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 209.200,- in der Höhe von Euro 120.000,- (57,36%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
