Overall goal


Das Klimabündnis verbindet ökologische und entwicklungspolitische Anliegen. Seit 20 Jahren engagiert sich das größte europäische Klimaschutz-Netzwerk auf Gemeindeebene für globale Partnerschaften, Klimaschutzmaßnahmen, Sensibilisierung für globale Zusammenhänge und alternative Handlungsmöglichkeiten.

Mit dem Projekt setzt Klimabündnis Österreich 2014 anlässlich des ADA-Förderschwerpunktes Wirtschaft als Partner einen Fokus auf die Zusammenarbeit mit den knapp 800 österreichischen Betrieben/Unternehmen im Klimabündnis. Ziel ist es, die Mitglieds-Betriebe (alle Bundesländer außer T u. Vbg.) verstärkt für entwicklungspolitisches Engagement/ Nord-Süd-Partnerschaften zu sensibilisieren.

Betriebe im Klimabündnis werden über globale ökologische/soziale Zusammenhänge und konkrete Handlungsoptionen (im Kontext von Produktionsprozessen, Stoffströmen, Ernährung/Landwirtschaft, Energieverbrauch) umfassend informiert und zu entsprechenden unternehmerischen Maßnahmen (z.B. Beschaffung, Ressourcenschonung, Nord-Süd-Partnerschaften) motiviert. Ein Delegationsbesuch von indigenen ExpertInnen vom Rio Negro (Brasilien) bietet Betrieben die Möglichkeit, sich mit Südpartnern direkt auszutauschen und über Auswirkungen unserer Konsum-/Lebens-/Wirtschaftsweise mehr zu erfahren. Eine Bestandsaufnahme von Klimabündnis-Betrieben recherchiert/präsentiert vorbildhafte Unternehmensbeispiele für globalen Klima- und Ressourcenschutz; ein Katalog an Handlungsmöglichkeiten für Unternehmen wird erarbeitet, begleitende Medienarbeit ist geplant. Neben der primären Zielgruppe Betriebe, spricht das Projekt auch Gemeinden an, die auf lokaler Ebene oft in engem Kontakt mit den ortsansässigen Unternehmen stehen.


Das Projekt wird in der Höhe von insgesamt € 60.000,- (79,30 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 1.1.2014 – 31.12.2014 (1 Jahr).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
