Overall goal


Dieses Projekt möchte an einem bereits bestehenden Women Skills Training Centre (WSTC) über die nächsten zwei Jahre vier sechsmonatige Kurse für mindestens 90 Frauen im Schneidern, Nähen, Sticken und Stricken sowie im Herstellen einfacher Verzierungsartikel für den Haushalt anbieten. Diese Ausbildung und das Startkapital (= eine Nähmaschine) gibt den Frauen die Möglichkeit, sich einen eigenen Lebensunterhalt zu finanzieren bzw. zum Lebensunterhalt der Familie beizutragen und damit die eigene Rolle in der Gesellschaft aufzuwerten. Mit dem Projekt wird zum allgemeinen Ziel des Women Empowerment im Erdbebengebiet des Azad Jammu Kashmir beigetragen.

proLoka hat bereits zwei solche Kurse von Februar 2007 bis Januar 2008 mit privaten Spenden durchgeführt ; dabei haben 49 Frauen ihre Ausbildung abgeschlossen.


Primäre Zielgruppe: Frauen zwischen 16 und 30 aus den Union Councils Nar Sher Ali Khan und Swanj

Sekundäre Zielgruppe: Familien der Frauen und unmittelbare lokale Gesellschaft (Einwohnerzahl ca. 30 000)


Ergebnisse:


1. Ein voll ausgestattetes Training Centre wird für die Frauen zur Verfügung stehen

2. 4 Ausbildungszyklen zu je 6 Monate können durchgeführt werden

3. Zumindest 90 Frauen werden an den Kursen teilnehmen, nach derzeitigen Erfahrungen 95% davon die Ausbildung erfolgreich abschließen.

4. Lokale Helfer können im Centre eingestellt um das Projekt erfolgreich durchführen zu können

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
