Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist der Aufbau eines Marktes für Grabenverbausysteme in Indien.Das vorliegende Projekt will einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Sicherheitsstandards bei indischen Bauprojekten leisten.


Expected results


Das Projektziel ist erreicht wenn:

-ein Bewusstsein für Arbeitssicherheit geschaffen wurden

-mit 3 bis 5 „Contractors“ (führenden Verwendern von Grabenverbausystemen) zusammenarbeitet wurde um die Sinnhaftigkeit der Verbauung zu demonstrieren

-ein Train-the-trainer-Programm (technische und Sicherheits-schulungen) auf- und umgesetzt wurde um das Wissen um die Herstellung und Montage von Grabenverbausystemen aufzubauen

-eine eigene Produktion in Indien vorbereitet wird

Context


Der Antragsteller TWF Baumaschinentechnik GmbH ist auf die Absicherung von Baustellen, wie sie z.B. beim Verlegen von Rohren oder Kabeln entstehen, spezialisiert. Über viele Kilometer müssen Gräben ausgehoben und – im besten Fall – abgesichert werden um Einstürze oder das Abrutschen der Erdwälle zu verhindern und so das Leben und die Gesundheit der BauarbeiterInnen zu schützen.

Bisher gibt es in Indien keine gesetzlichen Regelungen zu solchen Grabenverbauungen. Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage nach verbesserter Infrastruktur und der zunehmenden Beauftragung internationaler Bauunternehmen entsteht aber das Bewusstsein für ihre Notwendigkeit bzw. es steigt der Druck auf die Verwaltung.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
