Overall goal


Im Rahmen der geplanten Wirtschaftspartnerschaft werden Community Based Organisations (CBOs) aufgebaut und die Kapazitätenentwicklung in diesen Organisationen unterstützt. Ziel ist es, die Infrastruktur und Lebensbedingungen rund um das indische Joint Venture der Firma Pengg zu verbessern.


Zielgruppe dieses CSR-Projekts sind ca. 500 Farmer und ihre Familien, 3.000 Kinder, 500 Frauen und ca. 220 Auszubildende in 10 Dörfern im Bezirk Ranchi im Nordosten des Landes. Mit Hilfe der lokalen NGO Krishi Gram Vikas Kendra (KGVK) werden zunächst CBOs aufgebaut und Bewusstsein für Eigeninitiative geschaffen.


Das Projekt selbst besteht aus 3 Komponenten:

- Farming & Irrigation: Erhöhung des Ertrags beim Anbau von Reis und Gemüse, Verbesserung des Bewässerungssystems, qualitative Verbesserung der Viehzucht (Ziegen)

- Health: Verbesserung der Schwangeren- und Kindergesundheit mittels Institutionalisierung von Vorsorgeuntersuchungen, Impfungen und bewusstseinsbildenden Maßnahmen (Ernährung und Gesundheit)

- Education: Mehr Kinder in die Grundschule, Qualitätsverbesserung in der Ausbildung; Ausbildung von Jugendlichen zu Lehrern und ‚Health Workers‘, Berufliche Weiterbildung für ungelernte ArbeiterInnen

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
