Overall goal


Die Wirtschaftspartnerschaft zielt auf die nachhaltige Produktion von Malvenblüten aus dem Kosovo.


Trotz idealer ökologischer Rahmenbedingungen und politischer Bestrebungen wird das Potential des kosovarischen Landwirtschafts-sektors bisher nicht in ausreichendem Maße genutzt. So wird auch der Anbau von Heil- und Gewürzpflanzen zum gegenwärtigen Moment nicht forciert, obwohl fruchtbare Böden, hohe Wasserqualität und klimatische Bedingungen ausgezeichnete Voraussetzungen für dessen Anbau darstellen und zur Produktion spezieller Rohstoffe für die pharmazeutische Industrie genützt werden könnten.


Im Rahmen des Projekts wird auf die Nutzbarmachung dieses Potentials gezielt und die Produktion von Malvenblüten im Kosovo aufgebaut.

Dazu wird (1) die dazu notwendige organisatorische und infrastrukturelle Basis für die langfristige Zusammenarbeit mit einem lokalen Partner aufgebaut, (2) die langfristige Kooperation mit 150 lokalen Landwirtschaftsbetrieben zur Malvenblütenproduktion etabliert, (3) Know-how zur Produktion, Behandlung, Ernte und Verarbeitung von Malvenblüten vermittelt und (4) das Potential für Malvenblüten- und Heilkräuter im Kosovo kommuniziert und wissenschaftlich begleitet.


Durch den Aufbau der Malvenproduktion im Kosovo werden nicht nur die landwirtschaftlichen Potentiale des Landes besser genutzt, sondern gleichermaßen dringend notwendige Beschäftigungs- und Ein-kommensmöglichkeiten in ländlichen Gebieten geschaffen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
