MEDIAoffice ist ein auf die Verlags - u. Medienbranche spezialisiertes Dienstleistungsunternehmen und hat mit der Konzeption und Umsetzung von Medienkooperationen im Printbereich (Beilagen) als Maßnahme der entwicklungspolitischen Öffentlichkeitsarbeit bereits langjährige Erfahrung. Entwicklungspolitische Themen/Entwicklungen werden aufgegriffen, um sie kompakt einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. Seit 1997 werden aus OEZA-Mitteln jährlich 1-2 Medienprojekte gefördert.


Im Vorfeld des EU-Lateinamerika-Gipfels 2006 produziert MEDIAoffice in Kooperation mit der OÖ-Rundschau einen entwicklungspolitischen Themenschwerpunkt zu Lateinamerika im 4-färbigen Rundschau-Magazin, das der Donnerstag-Ausgabe der OÖ-Rundschau beiliegen wird. Ziel ist die Darstellung der vielfältigen Beziehungen zwischen Lateinamerika und (Ober)österreich und deren regionale Bezüge zum Alltag der oberösterreichischen LeserInnen. Weitere Anliegen der Beilage sind das Aufzeigen konkreter Handlungsoptionen - unter dem Motto "Jede/r kann einen Beitrag leisten"- sowie die Hinweise auf Veranstaltungen mit Lateinamerika-Bezug. Die Gestaltung der Inhalte erfolgt in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den lokalen entwicklungspolitischen NRO. BAOBAB und Südwind Agentur fungieren als überregionale Kooperationspartner.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 26.300,00 (17,68% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
