Overall goal


Ziel ist die gesellschaftliche und politische Wahrnehmung der Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) zu steigern und konkrete Handlungsmöglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, um zur Umsetzung der SDGs beizutragen. Durch eine ausgewogene, interdisziplinäre und ansprechende Vermittlung der Themen will das IUFE interessierte Personen zu einer tiefer gehenden Beschäftigung mit den Herausforderungen nachhaltiger Entwicklung einladen und neue Perspektiven eröffnen.

Target group / Beneficiaries


Bei EntscheidungsträgerInnen, Studierenden, Jugendlichen und MultiplikatorInnen aus Politik, Verwaltung, Wissenschaft, Kultur sowie bei Zielgruppen der Öffentlichkeit soll ein Bewusstsein zu den SDGs geschaffen werden. Die Umsetzung mit verschiedenen Kooperationspartnern (AGGV, Licht für die Welt, Landtage, Allianz für Klimagerechtigkeit, Landjugend usw. passiert vorwiegend in Wien, hat aber auch Schwerpunkte in den verschiedenen Bundesländern.


Activities


Das dreijährige Programm bietet entwicklungspolitische Informations- und Bildungsarbeit und stützt sich auf dabei auf Ergebnisse und Kooperationen aus den vorangegangenen Jahren. Mit der Fortsetzung der Initiative "Wheelday. Entwicklung bewegt!" wird ein besonderer Schwerpunkt auf die Bedürfnisse von Menschen mit Behinderung im Dialog mit Jugendlichen gelegt. Durch verschiedene interaktive Formate werden Fragen weltweiter Entwicklungen und die globale Vernetzung Österreichs zum Thema gemacht.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvoumen von Euro 247.000 mit Euro 195.000 (78,95%) mit einer Laufzeit von 3 Jahren gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
