Projektziel

Ziel des Programmes ist es, die österreichische, europäische und internationale Entwicklungspolitik und -praxis positiv zu beeinflussen und dabei entwicklungspolitische Positionen der Zivilgesellschaft stärker zu verankern. Zentrale Themen sind: Qualität und Wirksamkeit von österreichischer und europäischer Entwicklungspolitik, Agenda 2030, Entwicklungsfinanzierung, Politikkohärenz und Kooperationen österreichischer entwicklungspolitischer Organisationen mit dem Privatsektor

Erwartete Ergebnisse

- Das Programm soll sicherstellen, dass zivilgesellschaftliche Positionen zu den oben genannten Themen Eingang in die österreichische und europäische Entwicklungspolitik und -praxis finden.

- Staatliche AkteurInnen sollen auf inkohärente Politiken aufmerksam gemacht werden und zu Empfehlungen für eine effektivere Umsetzung von Politikkohärenz für nachhaltige Entwicklung Stellung nehmen.

- Kompetenzstärkung der Mitgliedsorganisationen durch verschiedene Trainings

- Die Entstehung von nachhaltigen Kooperationen mit dem österreichischen Privatsek-tor soll gefördert werden.

- Eine Multistakeholdergruppe zwischen staatlichen, zivilgesellschaftlichen und privatwirtschaftlichen AkteurInnen, die den Dialog zwischen Zivilgesellschaft und Privatsektor vorantreibt, soll forciert werden.

 


Target group / Beneficiaries


Zielgruppe

Um diese Resultate zu erzielen, adressiert die AG Globale Verantwortung folgende Ziel-gruppen: staatliche AkteurInnen auf österreichischer und europäischer Ebene sowie aus der Privatwirtschaft; Mitgliedsorganisationen der AG Globale Verantwortung, MedienvertreterInnen und die interessierte Öffentlichkeit; In Summe werden rund 2.300 Personen direkt und etwa 25.000 Personen indirekt (z.B. über Webseite, Projektlandkarte und Facebook) erreicht.

 


Activities


Maßnahmen

anwaltschaftliche Arbeit gegenüber staatlichen und privatwirtschaftlichen AkteurInnen, die Durchführung von öffentlichen Diskussionsveranstaltungen, Multistakeholdertreffen, Workshops und Austauschforen für Mitgliedsorganisationen, die Erarbeitung von Fallbeispielen, entwicklungspolitisch relevanter Materialien sowie Stellungnahmen und Empfehlungen; die Zusammenarbeit mit und Unterstützung des europäischen Dachverbands CONCORD; Darüber hinaus wird themenspezifische Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit geleistet, eine Projektlandkarte erweitert und Netzwerktreffen zwischen Unternehmen und Mitgliedsorganisationen der AG Globale Verantwortung organisiert.

Entwicklungspolitische Ziele stehen oft im Spannungsfeld politischer Interessen und laufen Gefahr unterminiert zu werden. Als Dachverband der entwicklungspolitischen und humanitären Organisationen Österreichs kann die AG Globale Verantwortung gemeinsam mit ihren Mitgliedsorganisationen einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Entwicklungspolitik und -praxis leisten.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
