Beauftragung Architektin - HTMTI Assessment

Projektziel
In accordance with Bhutanese development priorities the tourism sector will be strenghtened to provide job opportunities to the increasingly well educated youth, and to increase high-yield - low-impact tourism (and thereby foreign revenues).
A central strategic investment in this regard will be the Hotel & Tourism Management and Training Institute (HTMTI) to be implemented under this project. The HTMTI will serve as the first Bhutanese training institute in the tourism sector. Until today, training in this sector has only been available abroad.
Under this project Austria will contribute state-of-the-art technical equipment for the training kitchen, laundry, IT-rooms, Training Hotel and integrate high quality energy management and energy saving components for heating, hot water and waste water management, ventilation for restaurant and kitchen areas, heavy duty fittings and plumbing in wet rooms, insulation, life safety equipment and - wherever necessary - facilities for the disabled, while While the Royal Government of Bhutan will take up the remaining part of the construction costs.
Under this project an Austrian architect is sent to Bhutan to assess the exact input-needs for preparing the tender documents for the Austrian contribution to the construction costs.
