Projektziel
The International Crisis Group (ICG) is recognised as a leading independent, non-partisan source of analysis and advice to policymakers on the prevention and resolution of deadly conflicts. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to effective crisis response policy, including conflict prevention and resolution initiatives that can benefit affected civilian populations in our priority countries/ crises. ICG provides strong field-based political analysis, early warning signals, and policy recommendations in order to assist conflict prevention and resolution efforts of national governments, parliaments, political parties, local civil society groups in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean as well as the EU, the UN and other relevant intergovernmental or supranational bodies
ICG maximises the prospect of achieving the project 's overall goals through the regular publication of reports, briefing papers, monthly bulletins (Crisis Watch), media initiatives, oral briefings, round table and advocacy meetings, podcasts and policy seminars.
