The master programme is currently taught at the University of Klagenfurt and includes students from the HKH region.
The objectives of the feasibility study - to be conducted by the World Conservation Union (IUCN) are as follows:
- Analysis of the relevance and potential demand of such a programme to the HKH region;
- Are there already similar master programmes or trainings in the HKH region? At what level is human capacity in the field of "management of protected areas" currently being built up in the HKH region?
