Overall goal


Mit der Aktion Familienfasttag setzt die Katholische Frauenbewegung Österreichs 2007 zum 50. Mal ein Zeichen der Solidarität. In diesem Kontext findet ein Symposium statt, welches neben einer Bestandsaufnahme der Umsetzung der Aktionsplattform von Peking auch eine Analyse der bisher erfolgten Auswirkungen auf lokale Frauenorganisationen in Indien, Philippinen und Nicaragua umfasst. Darüber hinaus wird es eine Auseinandersetzung mit den im Kontext der Globalisierung notwendigen Rahmenbedingungen für und zukunftsweisenden Maßnahmen und Instrumente einer frauengerechten EZA geben.


Ziel- und Dialoggruppen sind internationale ProjektpartnerInnen, ExpertInnen zu den Themen und generelle ExpertInnen der EZA. Im Symposium werden Referate von ProjektpartnerInnen, Wissenschafterinnen und Expertinnen aus entwicklungspolitischen Organisationen gehalten, sowie Diskussionen im Plenum und Workshops mit Expertinnen stattfinden.


Eine Analyse mit dem Ziel, die Nachhaltigkeit einer internationalen Aktionsplattform qualitativ zu untersuchen und aus dieser Untersuchung heraus zukunftsorientierte Maßnahmen zu erarbeiten, erscheint im Lichte der globalen, komplexen Wechselbeziehungen, in welche EZA eingebettet ist, entwicklungspolitisch sehr sinnvoll. Dieses Ziel fördert somit das Verständnis von globalen Zusammenhängen und entspricht damit einem wichtigen inhaltlichen Kriterium des Förderprogramms für die entwicklungspolitische Informations-, Bildungs-, Kultur- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit der OEZA.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 36.212,00 in der Höhe von EUR 15.000,00 (41,42 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
