Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist es, Produktentwicklungs- und Produktionskapazitäten für Möbel im Kosovo aufzubauen und lokalen Unternehmen den Zugang zum EU-Markt zu ermöglichen.


Expected results


In der WIPA werden damit neben der Schaffung von Produktionskapazitäten und der Einführung von Standards auch Kapazitäten für die Entwicklung von neuen Produkten aufgebaut. Damit wird eine Wertschöpfung im Produktionsbereich aber auch im kreativen Bereich erreicht.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Insgesamt profitieren von dem Projekt 14 Unternehmen aus der Holz-Wertschöpfungskette sowie 400 Personen, die in diesem Bereich tätig sind. Es ist geplant, mindestens 100 Jobs (es werden 40% Frauen angestrebt) in der Projektlaufzeit zu schaffen. Mittelfristig (in 3-5 Jahren) werden 350 Jobs geschaffen.


Activities


Folgende Maßnahmen sind geplant:

1. Das Produktionslayout wird verbessert und neugestaltet.

2. Qualitätsstandards (u.a. ISO 9001 und ISO 14001) werden eingeführt.

3. Kapazitäten für die Entwicklung neuer Produkte wird aufgebaut.

4. Zugang zum EU Markt wird geschaffen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
