7. Entwicklungspolitische Filmtage Linz: Sudan - Friede auf Zeit?

Im Oktober 2010 veranstaltet das Interdisziplinäre Forschungsinstitut für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit zum siebten Mal die Entwicklungspolitischen Filmtage im Linzer Moviemento Kino. Mit dem diesjährigen Schwerpunktthema Sudan wird, wie in den vorangegangen Jahren, über das Medium Film eine Region und deren entwicklungspolitischen Aspekte vorgestellt. Einerseits richten die OrganisatorInnen einen kritischen Blick auf die Entwicklungen im nordostafrikanischen Land kurz nach den Wahlen und dem Ablauf des Friedensvertrages, andererseits werden die koloniale Vergangenheit und die aktuellen entwicklungspolitischen Probleme beleuchtet. Aber auch die kulturelle Vielfalt und die Sehenswürdigkeiten des touristisch nur im Nordosten erschlossenen Landes sollen vermittelt werden. Die Filmvorführungen sind in ein sechstägiges Rahmenprogramm mit einem Eröffnungsfest, Podiumsdiskussionen mit sudanesischen Gästen, einer Lesung sowie einem Kulturprogramm im Moviemento Kino eingebettet. Weiters wird in Kooperation mit dem Offenen Kulturhaus und dem Verein Stadtwerkstatt (mit Unterstützung des VIDC) ein Konzert mit dem sudanesischen Musiker Omer Ihsas & the Peace Messengers organisiert. Erneut fungieren das Café Gelbes Krokodil und das Foyer des Moviemento-Kino als Kommunikations- und Präsentationsplattform für oberösterreichische entwicklungspolitische NRO. Geplant sind Medienkooperationen mit Ö1, ORF-Landesstudio OÖ sowie weiteren regionalen Radio- und Fernsehsendern und Printmedien. Die Projektaktivitäten richten sich an die breite Öffentlichkeit sowie an ein entwicklungspolitisch interessiertes Publikum.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 17.015,- in der Höhe von EUR Euro 4.000,00- (23,51 %) gefördert.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
