Overall goal


Die Gemeinde Suto Orizari liegt 8 km von Skopje entfernt. Sie umfaßt 17.000 Einwohner, davon 80 % Roma. Die Bevölkerung der Gemeinde ist zu ca. 85 % arbeitslos. Durch Verbesserung der Abwasserentsorgung soll neben der grundlegenden Verbesserung der Lebensverhältnisse und der Gesundheitssituation gleichzeitig auch das interethnische Verständnis zwischen den Gemeindebewohnern und den umliegenden Ortschaften gefördert werden. Geplant ist die Befreiung von Wohngebieten von offen entsorgtem Schmutzwasser, das von den höher gelegen Romasiedlungen in tiefer gelegene Siedlungen von albanischer und Roma-Bevölkerung fließt.

Vorliegender Vertrag stellt einen Zusatz zum Vertrag 7951-00/2002 dar und soll den Abschluß der Errichtung des Schmutzwasserkanals ermöglichen. Das Gesamtprojekt hat somit einen Finanzrahmen von ¿ 955.000, wovon seitens Österreichs ¿ 715.000 (aus Vertrag 7951-00/2002 ¿ 433.000 und aus gegenständlichem Vertrag ¿ 282.000) beigetragen werden und von Seiten des Förderungsempfängers ¿ 240.000 (Ministerium für Transport und Kommunikation der Republik Mazedonien: ¿ 150.000; Stadt Skopje: ¿ 90.000)
