Overall goal


Mit dem Projekt wird im Herbst 2013 eine Literaturveranstaltung in Linz durchgeführt. Unter dem Motto Ein Tag mit afrikanischer Literatur wird Einblick in das Leben und die Werke von SchriftstellerInnen mit afrikanischen Wurzeln im deutschsprachigen Raum gegeben. Die AutorInnen beschäftigen sich in ihren Werken mit Afrika sowie mit der Situation der in Österreich und Deutschland lebenden schwarzen Bevölkerung, sie verfassen Gedichte, zeitgenössische Romane sowie biographische Erzählungen. Durch die vermehrte Präsenz ihrer Werke soll den AutorInnen Gehör für ihre Erfahrungen und Belange sowie Breitenwirksamkeit verschafft werden. Das Programm umfasst Lesungen und Publikumsgespräche, ein Vormittagsprogramm für Kinder und Jugendliche und ein Musikprogramm. Die Veranstaltung der Black Community OÖ findet in Kooperation mit der VHS Linz im Wissensturm statt. Rund 150 BesucherInnen werden erwartet, mittels multimedialer Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (Broschüre, Radio, Film, Print) wird auch eine breitere Öffentlichkeit erreicht.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 6.900,- (73,40 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 6 Monate

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
