Das Projekt wird von der AFRIKA-VernetzungsPlattform, einer Allianz afrikanischer Vereine/Initiativen in Österreich, im Rahmen des Themenschwerpunktes "Ke Nako Afrika - Afrika jetzt!" durchgeführt.. Ke.Nako.Afrika ist eine Verknüpfung von Österreich weiten Bildungs- und Dialogveranstaltungen, kulturellen-künstlerischen Interventionen, Sportaktivitäten und Medienkooperationen. Ein besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf der aktiven Mitwirkung der afrikanischen Communities in Österreich. Dem Vertragspartner kommt dabei gemeinsam mit VIDC und der ADA eine koordinierende Rolle zu.

Die AFRIKA-VernetzungsPlattform wird vielfältige Maßnahmen der afrikanischen Vereine/Initiativen koordinieren und gemeinsam Aktionen in Wien, Graz, Linz und Salzburg umsetzen. Mit dem Vernetzungsprojekt sollen strategische Partnerschaften, Synergien und eine nachhaltige Vernetzung der maßgeblichen Akteure der afrikanischen Communities, im Bereich EZA/NRO, Kultur, Medien, Politik und Sport angeregt werden. Interesse, Neugier und Offenheit für Afrika in einem globalen Kontext und für entwicklungspolitische/globale Themen hervorgerufen werden. Die Sichtbarkeit der gemeinsamen Aktionen soll gestärkt werden. Die Projektaktivitäten werden sich auf die "Afrika-Festwochen" zwischen 11.Juni-11. Juli 2010 konzentrieren. Das umfangreiche Maßnahmenpaket umfasst Länderpräsentationen/Info-Stände, Kunst- und Kulturprogramm, Dialog Corner/Diskussionen, Kinder- und Jugendprogramm, Frauen-Schwerpunkt, Medienarbeit und Koordinations-und Netzwerkaufgaben in vier Bundesländern.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von insgesamt Euro 102.600,- gefördert. (Laufzeit: 1 Jahr)

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
