Overall goal


Durch den österreichischen Beitrag zum ICRC Water & Sanitation Program in Dafur, Sudan wird sauberes Wasser und adequate Sanitäreinrichtungen für bis zu 500.000 Menschen in der betroffenen Region bereitgestellt.


Die ICRC Hilfsmaßnahmen umfassen die Reparatur von Wasserstationen und Wasserpumpen in den betroffenen städten in Dafur und in Dörfern, in denen IDPs Zuflucht gefunden haben. In den IDP Camps wird eine Wasserverteilungen durch elektronische Wasserpumpen und Wassertanks bereitgestellt.


Die Interventionen von ICRC sind darauf ausgerichtet, die vorhandenen Wasserressourcen bestmöglich zu nutzen, lokale Wasserstandards - und lösungen einzuhalten und zur nachhaltigen Wasserversorgung beizutragen.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
