Direkte Zielgruppen des Projektes sind 500 tschetschenische Schulkinder in Inguschetien sowie 10 tschetschenische Flüchtlinge, die als Lehrer angestellt sind.

Das Projekt ist Teil eines umfassenden Erziehungsprogramms, das von UNICEF koordiniert wird und an dem mehrere NGOs teilnehmen. Ziel ist, dass so viele Kinder wie möglich, die über 6 Jahre alt sind und in Inguschetien leben, am Erziehungsprozess teilnehmen können. Daher wird das Projekt - welches zum Teil ein Follow up von früheren Projekten ist - zu einer nachhaltigen und akzeptablen Erziehungssituation unter den IDPs führen und diesen Kindern ihr Recht auf freien Zugang zur Schulbildung garantieren. In 4 vom Hilfswerk errichteten Schulen werden insgesamt 500 Kinder und Jugendliche im Pflichtschulalter unterrichtet und erhalten das nötige Schulmaterial. Zusätzlich haben ältere Jugendliche, die auf Grund des Krieges in Tschetschenien die Schule abgebrochen haben, die Möglichkeit, den Unterricht in "Abendschulen" nachzuholen. Als Maßnahmen der Gemeinwesenarbeit soll die Reinigung der Schulgebäude auf freiwilliger Basis durch die Organisation von Teams von Lehrern, Eltern und anderem Personal durchgeführt werden. Die berufliche Fortbildung der 10 LehrerInnen, die im Projekt beschäftigt werden und selbst IDPs sind, soll in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Tschetschenischen Erziehungsministerium und in Kooperation mit anderen NGOs erfolgen. Freizeitaktivitäten im Ferienmonat Juni ergänzen das Schulprogramm.
